Herand's 100th Birthday Celebration
Holy Name Medical Center volunteer and veteran Herand Kafafian celebrated his 100th birthday at Holy Name Medical Center on September 5, 2018.
Heron served the US Army as a photographer from 1942-1945 stationed in the Philippines. He was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries in the invasion of Leyte, under the command of General Douglas MacArthur.
